Web Security
Review and maintenance of websites to control accesses, updates, settings, exposure and backups.
COVERSURITY · MANIANETWORK
Security for websites, applications, WordPress, infrastructure, accounts and equipment.
We review the environment, identify what deserves attention, and implement concrete measures to reduce exposure and keep systems under control.
CIBERSECURITY · MANIANETWORK / MALAGA
Security is not worked equally on a corporate website, an application with users, a WordPress or several office teams.
We start from the systems used by the company, the accesses that exist and the information that needs to be protected. From there we review configuration, updates, permissions, exposure and recovery measures.
01 / PARTY POINT
We help companies and professionals review the security of the systems they use in their daily activity: websites, applications, WordPress, servers, accounts and equipment.
The first step is to identify which assets are part of the environment and what depends on them. An informative website does not have the same needs as an application with users, an online store or a server that supports several services.
The proposal specifies which systems are to be reviewed, which measures will be implemented and which part remains under maintenance of ManiaNetwork.
02 / PRIORITIES
Not all alerts are of equal importance and not all companies need the same tools.
A weak password in an administrative account, an unupdated WordPress, a backup that has never been tested or an unnecessarily exposed service can have very different consequences depending on the environment.
We order the work according to the affected system, the type of access, the information it manages and the impact that would have an impact. The idea is to act first on what can really compromise the activity.
03 / DIGITAL ENVIRONMENTS
A website is not only protected by using HTTPS. Also important are the software it runs, administrative accesses, permissions, dependencies and server settings.
On websites and applications we review the elements that are part of the scope: accesses, updates, configuration, forms, permissions, exposure of information and connection to other services.
In WordPress we pay special attention to the kernel, plugins, themes, users, backups and components that should no longer be installed. Keeping fewer pieces and keeping them controlled is usually more useful than accumulating security plugins without a management behind.
In our own applications we also work on aspects such as authentication, roles, sessions, credentials storage and API integrations when they are part of the project.
04 / SYSTEMS AND PERSONS
The security of an application also depends on the environment where it works.
In infrastructure we review administrative accesses, updates, certificates, published services, permits and configurations that unnecessarily increase the exposure surface.
We can also work on the security of company accounts and equipment. Mail, storage, management panels and work devices concentrate accesses to much of the business activity.
Multifactor authentication, permit review, separation of administrative accounts, endpoint protection and equipment maintenance are measures that are posed according to the client's environment and needs.
05 / CONTINUING PROTECTION
Hardening consists of reducing what is not necessary and leaving each system configured with the accesses and services necessary for its function.
It may involve closing services, limiting permissions, removing old accounts, adjusting settings, or strengthening administrative access.
Backups are part of the same approach. It is not enough that there is a backup: you need to know what it protects, how often it is performed and how the service would be recovered if necessary.
In the systems under management of ManiaNetwork we can maintain updates, review alerts and monitor the status of the included services. Security is not considered finished the day it is configured.
06 / ANSWER
The goal is not to deliver an endless list of technical notices to the customer.
When we detect a problem, we explain which system it affects, why it deserves attention, and what measure can be applied to reduce risk.
When the correction belongs to systems we manage, we can execute it within the agreed scope. If it depends on an external provider or service, we identify that dependency so that it is clear who should intervene.
An applied correction reduces a specific risk, but does not make a system invulnerable. Therefore, maintenance and periodic review remain important.
07 / COVERAGE
ManiaNetwork works from Malaga and can manage much of these services remotely.
The modality depends on the type of system. A website, an application or a server can be managed remotely, while certain work on computers may require authorized remote access or a previously agreed face-to-face performance.
To prepare an initial assessment it is enough to explain what systems you use and what you want to improve. Credentials and sensitive information are requested only when there is an appropriate channel and are necessary for the work.

CIVERSITY QUESTIONS
Yes. The scope may include configuration, accesses, updates, dependencies, exposure and other technical elements related to the web and its infrastructure.
Yes. We can manage updates, plugins, themes, users, accesses, backups, hardening and backup maintenance.
Yes. We can work with authentication, permissions, sessions, configuration, data and integrations according to the architecture and scope of the project.
Yes, especially in infrastructure managed by ManiaNetwork. In external systems it will depend on the available access and the conditions of the provider.
Yes. Security may include endpoint protection, MFA, access review, permissions and maintenance of the equipment included in the service.
Not currently. ManiaNetwork does not present these services as part of its offer.
No. A review makes it possible to reduce risks and correct problems within a given scope, but no system can be considered risk-free on a permanent basis.
Yes. Many work on websites, applications, servers and accounts can be done remotely for customers from anywhere in Spain.
Let's talk about your environment.
Explain to us what systems you use and what you want to review: web, application, WordPress, server, accounts or computers. From there we define the work and propose the measures that make sense for your environment.
